In this fun and giving charity event, your group is formed into teams that complete tasks to get the parts and materials necessary to assemble, test, and decorate wheelchairs for donation.
This Corporate Social Responsibility program will help disabled veterans with serious mobility issues. Our Wheels of Opportunity Wheelchair program will touch your team’s heart and make it an inspiring day that all will remember.
Tools such as organization, delegation, collaboration – and some light mechanical skills will be required for this challenge. After your teams have built their wheelchairs, they will proceed to the Safety Inspection station for certification.
The teams start the event by completing several fun games including:
Cadence Call and a tablet based trivia/bootcamp challenge games.
The top battalion members will receive a dogtag award.
The teams then move into the GIVING part of the program. The batallions will assemble care kits for homeless vets and make a lap blanket for each chair. and build a wheelchair. The wheelchairs will have one bag and the blanket attached and the rest of the care bags will be distributed to local organizations for the homeless vets.
Now the excitement mounts as the entire team takes turns attempting to maneuver through our exhilarating obstacle course! This timed competitive event will help your group understand the difficulties faced by wheelchair-bound people. The teams will use special wheelchairs for this event so the ones that they built and decorated will not be broken.
At the conclusion of this fun and important program, a representative from a charity with people in need of wheelchairs will make a surprise visit to receive the donation and to thank the participants for their generosity.
Aspects of the program may be modified depending on variables including, but not limited to, venue restrictions, program length, and group size.

Packages From Home is an excellent way to have your participants enhance the lives of our service men and women, by connecting directly to our soldiers overseas in a personal way!
At first this program places teams in a competitive mode, which quickly transcends into the purpose and success of collaboration and support, leaving your entire group with the key message of strength in unity. The group is divided into teams of 6-8 members who will participate in a series of fun military style, fast paced games. Each of the games will have multiple lanes to allow for all teams to rotate through quickly and smoothly. The games can include: Cadence Call March Military Trivia Communication Tower
With the completion of the games; teams return to their tables to begin the meaningful portion of the program; where they fill, in military precision, boxes full of items to send overseas.
Each box has over 30 different items, that are requested from our service people. Items include: Socks, powder, deoderant, hand wipes, toothpaste, lotion, and a wide array of food items and games
A personal touch will also be included in the form of letters written to the recipients.
The care packages will be sent directly via hand-picked organizations that specialize in and cater to individuals who, for a variety of reasons (including no immediate family), rarely - if ever - receive mail from home.
Homeless Care Kits
In addition, we bring a focus to the many homeless veterans in our country, and include them in or
thoughts and donations. Your group will fill bags with toiletries, and items especially for them, which will be distributed by the Veteran Outreach programs.
This is an extraordinary way to infuse your group with energy and create feelings of immense goodwill and a sense of something larger than day-to-day work challenges.

This is a long form text area designed for your content that you can fill up with as many words as your heart desires. You can write articles, long mission statements, company policies, executive profiles, company awards/distinctions, office locations, shareholder reports, whitepapers, media mentions and other pieces of content that don’t fit into a shorter, more succinct space.
Articles – Good topics for articles include anything related to your company – recent changes to operations, the latest company softball game – or the industry you’re in. General business trends (think national and even international) are great article fodder, too.
Mission statements – You can tell a lot about a company by its mission statement. Don’t have one? Now might be a good time to create one and post it here. A good mission statement tells you what drives a company to do what it does.
Company policies – Are there company policies that are particularly important to your business? Perhaps your unlimited paternity/maternity leave policy has endeared you to employees across the company. This is a good place to talk about that.
Executive profiles – A company is only as strong as its executive leadership. This is a good place to show off who’s occupying the corner offices. Write a nice bio about each executive that includes what they do, how long they’ve been at it, and what got them to where they are.
